Description

Raising the motorway by 1.5m to prevent flooding and widening it to provide additional capacity and bus shoulder lanes in both directions.

18ea StormFilters (with greater than 170 Cartridges total) have been installed to treat approximately 12Ha of highly trafficked motorway for Total Suspended Solids (TSS) and Heavy Metal Removal. A mass load design approach was taken to increase the performance efficiency and increase period between maintenance activities.

Due to space restrictions on site, Offline bypasses have been internally incorporated (via Peak Diversion StormFilters) saving the client valuable program time and cost compared to building traditional external diversion structures.
