LittaTrap™

The EnviroPod™ LittaTrap™ is an award-winning, affordable, innovative technology that prevents litter from reaching our oceans and waterways.

Designed to be easily retrofitted into new and existing stormwater drains, the LittaTrap simply sits inside a catchpit and captures and retains plastic and litter before they enter the drainage system and therefore before they can reach our streams, rivers, and oceans.

How does it work?

When stormwater enters a storm grate or catch pit with a LittaTrap installed, the water passes through the LittaTrap filter bag and litter, debris, and plastic larger than the holes in the filter bag  (5mm) are captured and retained.

When the bag is full, it can be simply lifted out and tipped into either recycling or landfill.

The LittaTrap is very cost-effective and easy to install and maintain.

We can offer discounts for schools/educational groups, Plastics New Zealand and Sustainable Business Network members, and bulk pricing is available.

Stormwater360 is a supplier of the EnviroPod™ technologies in New Zealand.
