Description

The project site is a commercial subdivision on the old McLaughlin’s Quarry at McLaughlins Rd, Wiri, Auckland.

Stormwater360 designed and supplied 300x69cm Perlite cartridges with an external offline bypass, treating approx. 27ha catchment (including roads and individual lots).

To-date this is the largest StormFilter™ in New Zealand.

The StormFilter™ is an Auckland Regional Council (ARC) approved flow based stormwater treatment device that is recognised as a versatile Best Management Practice (BMP) for removing seventy-five percent of total suspended solids (TSS). It cleans runoff through a patented passive filtration system which effectively removes a variety of pollutants, such as sediments, oil and grease, metals, organics, and nutrients. Highly reliable, easy to install and maintain, and proven well-documented performance.
