Darren joined the team in October 2019 primarily to increase the North Island sales team capacity. He brings eight years' technical experience, having previously worked as a scientist in the mining and environmental fields on more than eight different commodities across six continents; and commercial and consulting experience, having spent most of 2019 in the renewable energy industry across south and east Africa. He is a registered scientist in South Africa and has previously served on the council of the Geological Society of South Africa.

Although relatively new to stormwater design he is excited to get involved with helping to improve the quality of runoff across New Zealand. The mix between science, engineering, new technology and sustainability makes this industry very exciting and one where he believes he will enjoy a long and happy career.
