Stormwater360 are proud to announce that Dr. John Cheah, our Research and Development Engineer has been chosen as a finalist in the IPENZ Young Engineer of the Year Award!

 To be chosen as a finalist, entrants needed to show excellence in their career, leadership qualities and a contribution to their community.

The work that John undertook as part of his doctoral research, designing and building homes with rammed earth in the rural Maori community of Ahipara met all the judging criteria.

John will be presenting alongside the other finalists on Thursday 18^th February in Auckland, with this year’s winner to be announced at the Fellows' and Achievers' Dinner in Wellington on 18 March.
