Description

A 12Ha residential subdivision to on a greenfield site to help with Auckland's current housing shortage.

The stormwater runoff from the large catchment was required to be treated for gross pollutants, total suspended solids and heavy metals prior to being discharged to the Waimahia Inlet, and ultimately to the Manukau Harbour.

A VortCapture, with internal offline high flow bypass, has been installed upstream of a large wetland to provide pre-treatment of gross pollutants.

A StormFilter has also been installed to treat a small sub-catchment prior to marine discharge.
