LittaTrap™

The LittaTrap™ is a proven catchpit filter designed to be easily retrofitted into new and existing stormwater drains to specifically stop plastic, litter, and other gross pollutants from reaching the stormwater system and flowing into our waterways.

How does it work?

When stormwater enters a storm grate or catchpit/gullypit with a LittaTrap™ installed, the water passes through the LittaTrapscreening bag and litter, debris, and other pollutants larger than the screening bag aperture are captured and retained. When the bag is filled, it can be simply lifted out and tipped into either recycling or landfill.

If the screening bag is full or during high flows, overflow is released through the overflow apertures in the frame assembly.

The LittaTrap is very cost-effective and easy to maintain as the insert can be emptied by hand, not requiring an Induction truck to empty.

This efficient solution captures and removes unsightly and environment degrading plastics and other gross pollutants before they reach the stormwater drains.
