The largest StormFilter installed in New Zealand to date is at the North Shore Hospital. All stormwater from the 15 hectare impermeable parking and roadway area is piped to the StormFilter vault for treatment before being directly discharged into Lak Pupuke.
160 tall cartridges with Perlite filter media are housed in a 'W' section vault separating the cartridges into two 80 cartridge bays.
The StormFilter can treat 250L/sec treatable flow, and is estimated to have annual maintenance.
