New Stormwater Engineer Joins SW360
28 Jul 2011
Troy Brockbank has recently joined Stormwater360's design team as a stormwater engineer after returning to New Zealand from an extended OE in the UK. Apparently the lust for a mince & cheese pie was just too much to handle!
Troy graduated from the University of Auckland in 2006 with a civil engineering degree and began a three year stint with Opus International Consultants At Opus he was involved in the design and construction of stormwater systems on large infrastructure projects throughout the Auckland region.
Deciding to follow the great kiwi tradition, Troy flew half-way around the world to begin a two year overseas experience to Britain. After finding his feet in the South Wales valleys, Troy worked as a contractor for the likes of Costain and Willmott Dixon on projects throughout the South Wales valleys. In his spare time he could be found out on the rugby league field or travelling around Europe.
Outside of work, he is an active member of SPPEEx and a proud advocate for Maori and Pacific Island Engineers.
